Small Chance For A Shower Late Tonight -Bill Graul
Another Heatwave Is On The Way!
Tonight’s Forecast Low: 69F / Thursday’s Forecast High: 87F…
Plenty of clouds today made for comfortable temps in the 70s. More clouds than stars tonight and a bit muggy. Lows will range from the upper 50s (north/east) to the upper 60s. A weak frontal boundary will move west to east across the region overnight, bringing a small chance for an isolated shower in spots well after midnight and into early Thursday morning.
Mostly cloudy Thursday, but warmer with highs in the 80s. In fact, mid-upper 80s will be possible in the La Crosse area. Isolated t-showers are possible early… then again later in the afternoon and into the evening hours. It’s a small chance though, only about 20%.
Another heatwave is on the way for the region… starting Friday. Expect highs Friday in the low 90s, perhaps some mid 90s in the river valleys. It will be humid too, causing heat indices (what it feels like) well into the 90s.
Looking Ahead… Hot and humid weather looks like it will stick around not only for the weekend, but right through most of next week. Expect highs in the 90-95F range in most locations, with lows in the upper 60s to low-mid 70s. It will remain humid through the period, so afternoon and early evening heat indices could climb into the upper 90s in some spots.
As for rain chances, slight chance of t-showers Friday night into Saturday morning. Then just isolated chances (20%) for t-showers next Monday through Thursday… but many areas will remain dry.
Have a good night! -Bill Graul
