Small Businesses Saturday spotlights La Crosse businesses during start of holiday shopping season
Stores may have COVID-19 safety measures in place
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Local businesses are in the spotlight during Small Business Saturday.
The nationwide annual event is a chance for you to support small and independently-owned businesses.
That includes the ones right here in our area.
Shopping small can have a big impact.
“At a small business, you make sure that the money you’re spending stays local. The small business people are employing other people in your community and the money just goes a lot farther,” said Downtown Mainstreet interim director Debra Lash-Stangel.
As a reminder if you go shopping, stores will have COVID-19 safety measures in place including face-mask requirements and limited store capacity.
Some may offer curbside or online options as well.
