Silent auction donations needed for benefit event supporting victims of downtown fire
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The Popcorn Tavern is hosting a benefit for those affected by the India Curry House fire.
The benefit will be Sunday, May 22 at 2 p.m.
Donations from the event will go to the tenants who were living above the restaurant.
Organizers are looking for donations for a silent auction being held next door at Bridges Church.
The auction donations must be dropped off or picked up by Thursday, May 19th.

All proceeds from the silent auction and a raffle will go directly to those affected. Cash donations can be dropped off at the Popcorn Tavern.
The event will feature live music, as well as free food and beer as long as supplies last.
