Second weekend of Rotary Lights will bring traffic, donations

Annual event held in La Crosse's Riverside Park

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – You can help the community at Rotary Lights by dropping off non-perishable food and cash.

Your gifts will be distributed to charities to help families put food on the table this holiday and year-round.

Rotary Lights starts at five, every evening in December in La Crosse’s Riverside Park.

If you are planning to head down, expect some back ups.

Drivers should head south down Copeland Avenue, turn right onto 2nd street, past the Oktoberfest grounds.

Traffic will then turn right at the intersection of 2nd and Vine Streets, before looping back around to State Street.

All routes are marked.

La Crosse Police will be on hand to help.
