Scene cleared after gas leak reported outside Viroqua business
VIROQUA, Wis. (WKBT) — Authorities in Viroqua responded to a gas leak outside a business on Nelson Parkway. The incident was reported around 9:20 a.m.
The gas leak was coming from an above ground LP tank out Nelson Global Products, according to Viroqua Fire Chief Chad Buros.
No one was inside the building at the time of the incident, but people were advised to avoid the area while first responders investigated the leak.
The Viroqua Police Department and Madison Gas and Electric assisted at the scene.
First responders have cleared the scene.
