Scattered Showers & T-Storms Today
Saturday”s Forecast High: 74°F, Tonight’s Forecast Low: 60°F
Good Saturday to you! An area of low pressure is moving through the Upper Midwest today bringing clouds and scattered rain. There will be plenty of dry time today, but also some scattered showers and t-storms from time to time. We could also see a few strong to severe storms over northeastern Iowa and far southwestern Wisconsin. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s.
Chance of a few t-storms early tonight. Otherwise mainly cloudy with patchy fog possible late. Lows near 60 degrees.
We’ll begin Sunday with areas of fog. The chance of showers and storms will continue, but the rain will not be as widespread as today. With warmer air moving in and a little more instability, a few strong to severe storms may develop tomorrow, mainly in our southern communities. Temperatures will climb into the low 80s.
Showers and thunderstorms will be scattered across the area again on Monday for Memorial Day. Temperatures will remain warm with highs in the low 80s.
Rain and a few t-storms will be likely on Tuesday. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s.
Slight chance of a few lingering showers or storms Wednesday, but then we dry out for the rest of the week and into next weekend.
Have a great Saturday! –Michelle Poedel
