Santa visits the Salvation Army
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The Salvation Army of La Crosse had some special visitors Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Claus took a break from their busy pre-Christmas schedule to stop at county office to promote the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign.
Kids were invited to decorate, eat cookies and take pictures with Santa Claus. Mrs. Claus explained why she thought it was important to visit the Salvation Army in La Crosse.
“We are just making rounds all over and we thought that we would check out the Salvation Army of La Crosse to make sure that everybody is on their Ps and Qs and making sure that they’re good for Christmas,” said Mrs. Claus.
The event was free and open to the public.
