Santa Claus to swing through Onalaska

ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) — Santa Claus will make time during his busy season to have a series of small holiday parades in Onalaska throughout the month of December.

“This year has been trying and will not generally allow for the traditional Santa Claus visits that I and my helpers greatly enjoy. To ensure that all children in Onalaska have an opportunity to say hello I have coordinated with the City of Onalaska to have a holiday parade,” Claus wrote in a press release.

He will drive through the city accompanied by a police care and fire engine from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 8, 10, 15, 17 and 22. Claus will take a different route each night. Visit to find out where he will be.

“Remember to stay on Santa’s “nice” list by wearing your face covering, keeping your distance, and washing your hands. I want everyone to have fun, but please do not leave your yard/sidewalk to approach Santa and Mrs. Claus,” Claus said.

Children in Onalaska may also request a personal phone call from Santa this year by filling out a form at:
