Rudy’s Drive-In in La Crosse opens for 89th year, with new owner

Rudy's is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Rudy’s Drive-In in La Crosse opened Friday for its 89th season.

However, one familiar face is missing.

Third=generation owner Gary Rudy sold the business to long-time staff member Justin Smith.

In a post on Facebook, Smith said, “Gary took the time to mentor me… and has become one of my closest friends over the years. I am honored to be able to serve the community for many years to come.”

Rudy’s is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
