Rotary Lights preparations are underway for La Crosse tradition
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Rotary Lights is preparing for the annual light display in La Crosse’s Riverside Park.
The Rotary Lights Board of Directors held a kickoff event Thursday in La Crosse.
This is the 24th year of the Christmas lights display.
Coming this year will be new light displays and an event honoring veterans.
The president of Rotary Lights says the tradition is growing up with the families that enjoy the experience.
“We’re into the next generation now of people that were little when they came down to Rotary Lights for the first time and now they’re bringing down their own children,” said Rotary Lights President Pat Stephens.
The light display will be turned on the evening of November 23rd in downtown La Crosse.
