Roadway construction starts Monday at West Salem’s Veterans Memorial Park

WEST SALEM, Wis. (WKBT) — Visitors to West Salem’s Veterans Memorial Park may have to dodge some construction beginning Monday.

The highway commissioner says the work on the roadway starts Monday and is expected to last four to six weeks.

He says the park won’t be shut down at any point during the work, but there will be sections closed to car traffic during 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Expected work hours are subject to changes because of weather or other issues that come up.

You can reach out to the highway commissioner Joe Langeberg for any questions by calling 608-786-3813.
