Riverside North re-brands into River Point District
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — River Point District is the new name for La Crosse’s Riverside North project.
The district will stretch over 65 acres along Copeland Avenue on La Crosse’s Northside.
The name ‘River Point District’ is part of a new branding effort between the City’s Redevelopment Authority and La Crosse based Vendi Advertising.
Along with the new name, there is a new logo, and website.
The hope with this branding effort is to build awareness, and support neighborhood growth.
Chair of the La Crosse Redevelopment Authority, Adam Hatfield says, “It came about from some feedback from local officials, local professionals to re-brand the site to capture its significance by the confluence of several rivers, and to refresh its look and feel for the site.”
The next step for the River Point District project are reaching out to investors and developers in 2020.
