Riverfest a missing piece of La Crosse’s summertime
Four day festival held in La Crosse's Riverside Park
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – If you feel like there is something missing in La Crosse, you aren’t alone.
“Live music. Being able to hear it and being able to come after work and see it. That was always really fun,” said La Crosse resident Taylor Gruszka.
Wednesday was set to be the opening day of Riverfest in La Crosse.
The annual event brings thousands to Riverside Park to enjoy music, food and fun.
As we’ve told you, the annual fireworks display will not be held this Saturday.
But, organizers do say they are planning for the event to return next year.
Details about next year’s event will be posted on the Riverfest website.
