Reward offered for information about missing veteran last seen in Wisconsin
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The family of a missing man last seen in Wisconsin is now offering a $5,000 reward for any information that results in his recovery. Norbert “Tony” Dantzman, an elderly veteran with dementia, was last seen on Aug. 30 in Winter, Wisconsin.
Dantzman was visiting from California for a family gathering. According to family members, he walked away from a hotel by himself but may have caught a ride from someone.
The Wisconsin Department of Justice issued the Silver Alert on Aug. 30 and expanded the alert statewide the next day, saying he might be hitchhiking.
Tony is 5′ 9″ tall, weighs 136 pounds and has brown eyes and gray hair with a beard. He was last seen wearing a checkered shirt, black vest, black pants, a light-colored baseball cap and his glasses. Both of Tony’s index fingers are crooked.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Sawyer County Sheriff’s Department at 715-634-5213.
