Resources remain available for city of La Crosse residents
Information available for housing, food, and employment assistance
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – A community resource is available for people struggling during the pandemic.
The City of La Crosse has a collection of community resources on the city’s website.
Information about food, employment, housing and child care support is some of the information available for community members.
The city is also working to help those in our area that are struggling with even more.
“The city is making available $200,000 in grant funding to local organizations to both house people living on the streets and in shelter. And secondly to increase their ourreach efforts to the unsheltered,” said La Crosse community development administrator Caroline Gregerson.
Grants will also support child care businesses and after school programs.
The deadline for organizations to apply for the grants is July 2nd.
