Residents reminded not to place items on public sidewalks, boulevards until morning before Oktoberfest parade

LA CROSSE (WKBT) — A reminder from the City of La Crosse: keep items off of public sidewalks, boulevards and right-of-ways until before Saturday’s Maple Leaf Parade.

Until midnight prior to the parade, couches, chairs and other items need to be kept off of public areas, city officials said. Violations can amount to a $124 fine.

The parking of cars, trucks, flatbeds, trailers, campers or any vehicle of any type and placing of stakes and ropes on the public sidewalks, boulevard or right-of-way is prohibited at all times, city officials said.
