Request for masks, sanitizing items for first responders in La Crosse

Donations can be delivered at site on Isle La Plume

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The City of La Crosse is asking the community members for their help to keep first responders safe.

Donations of N-95 masks and extra sanitizing items are need to help La Crosse Police and Firefighters.

Members of the La Crosse Police Department say any donation is useful to help them help the community.

“The facemasks they really do provide a level of protection for our staff as they’re out there continuing to handle the public’s business,” said Sgt. Tom Walsh.

A donation site is at 2000 Marco Drive on Isle La Plume.

The site will be open daily seven in the morning until three in the evening.
