Report: NFL to use stadium rows to sell signage to sponsors

A Lambeau Leap is unlikely to happen in a 2020 NFL season.

Sports Business Daily reports that NFL teams have been told they can sell camera-visible signs to local sponsors to try and help pandemic-related revenue losses.

These signs would take up the first six to eight rows of seats in every stadium, which would render a Lambeau Leap impossible. The signs would be large tarps that cover that space, similar to what is currently done in the English Premier League.

The outlet reports the proposal will be presented to owners on Thursday.
