Eighth edition of festival will be held June 20th
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Registration is now open for the 2020 Big Blue Dragon Boat Festival.
The annual festival is now in it’s eighth year.
It raises money for the Mayo Clinic Health System’s Center for Breast Care and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse.
Teams of racers face off in community, corporate and breast cancer survivor divisions.
Early bird registration is open through March 31st.
You can help create a special experience for breast cancer survivors in our community.
“The breast cancer survivor portion of the event is very touching and it’s important for those survivors and the people who have a survivor in their life because it affects everyone,” said Mayo Clinic Health System community engagement specialist Heidi Odegaard.
The Big Blue Dragon Boat Festival takes places June 20th on the Black River near Copeland Park in La Crosse.
You can register on the Big Blue Dragon Boat Festival’s website.
