Red Cross holds first of 2 blood drives in West Salem

LA CROSSE (WKBT) — The American Red Cross is teaming up with the West Salem Middle School band program for two blood drives.

The partnership hosted its first blood drive Monday at the Presbyterian Church of West Salem, and the second is scheduled for Aug. 9.

In addition to helping improve the blood supply, donations will also help the West Salem Middle School band program. For every donor, $10 will go to the band program.

Donors will also receive a coupon for one free pint of custard from culver’s in La Crosse.
