Rate of female cancer deaths rises
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Globally, cancer death rates among women are up.
The rate of women diagnosed with lung cancer is expected to rise world wide.
Experts say smoking rates in underdeveloped countries are rising which is causing the rate of lung cancer to rise.
But experts also say the rates are rising because testing in underdeveloped countries is becoming more common.
Before, limited testing made it harder for doctors to determine the cause of death.
