Rain for Some Tonight into Tomorrow
RIVER FLOOD WARNING remains in effect until further notice for the Mississippi River at Wabasha and the PdC/McGregor area. Minor flooding is occurring.
We are watching an area of low pressure and a cold front now moving into the Dakotas. This front will bring our next chance of rain. This system will bring an increase in cloud cover this evening. Scattered showers and isolated t-storms will then develop late tonight, mainly after 1 AM. The highest rain chances look to remain along and north of I-90.
Tuesday looks cloudy with highs again in the low 50s. We’ll see a chance of rain showers in the morning, then again later in the day. It will turn breezy with southerly winds at 10-20 mph with gusts of 20-30 mph possible during the afternoon and evening.
Looking Ahead… Mostly cloudy and cool Wednesday with highs around 50F. Partly cloudy and warmer Thursday with highs in the upper 50s.
It will turn even warmer Friday and through the weekend with highs in the low-mid 60s. We could see some isolated showers Friday and Saturday, with a better chance of rain arriving Sunday into Monday.
Look for a cooler day next Tuesday along with an isolated shower possible.
