Rain Continues This Evening, Ends Late Tonight
Wednesday’s High: 49°F, Tonight’s Low: 36°F
Plenty of clouds across the area today, but at least we had some dry time this morning. Rain moved in this afternoon and will continue this evening and early tonight as a cold front moves through the area. As temperatures cool, a few snowflakes could mix in with the rain in our northern communities. Lows will be in the mid 30s.
The clouds will stick around for Thursday. We could see a few isolated showers during the afternoon, but most of the day will be dry tomorrow. Temps will top out in the mid to upper 40s.
Temperatures will warm up a little bit for Friday, but the slight chance of rain will continue. Highs will be in the low 50s.
A more potent system will track into the Upper Midwest for Saturday. Rain will be likely Saturday with a strong east wind. There could even be a few rumbles of thunder. Highs will be in the upper 40s to low 50s.
A few rain showers will linger Sunday before we dry out. Temps will be in the upper 40s to low 50s.
Temperatures will keep climbing early next week. At this point, Monday looks beautiful with partly sunny skies and highs in the mid to upper 50s.
The mild air sticks around for Tuesday, but a weak system will bring a slight chance of rain showers.
Have a great night and stay dry! –Michelle Poedel
