Quiet Weather Continues
High pressure building into the region will bring a clear and cool night to the region. Overnight lows will drop into the lower to middle 50s. A few of our traditional cool spots could see lows as cool as the middle 40s. Patchy fog is also possible, especially in area river valleys.
Sunny to partly cloudy skies are on tap for Thursday. There is even a very small chance of isolated sprinkles, especially the farther east you travel from La Crosse. It will be pleasant with highs in the upper 70s and low humidity. More of the same is expected Friday and Saturday with highs in the upper 70s to around 80F.
Much of Sunday could end up staying dry as well. The latest forecast data doesn’t bring chances for showers and t-storms into the area until late in the day, perhaps even Sunday night. Highs Sunday will be in the low 80s.
Looking Ahead… Look for a good chance of showers and t-storms on Monday. It will be a bit warmer and more humid with highs in the low 80s.
Isolated showers and t-storms will be possible next Tuesday through Thursday, but expect lots of dry time each day as well. As of now, it looks like a bit better chance of showers and storms on Wednesday. Highs will gradually cool from the low 80s Tuesday… to the upper 70s Wednesday and Thursday.
