‘Principal for a Day’ learns, leads at Southern Bluffs Elementary in La Crosse

Principal Fresia meets with students, Superintendent

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – There is one new person on the job in the School District of La Crosse.

Principal Jacob Fresia took his spot as the Southern Bluffs Elementary leader as he served as Principal for the Day.

The 5th grader made announcements, visited with students and even met with District Superintendent Randy Nelson.

The day is a chance for Fresia to lead and learn.

“My mom was a teacher, my grandma was a substitute teacher, so I wanted to lead people and get them smarter too,” said Jacob Fresia, Southern Bluffs Elementary ‘Principal for a Day’.

Fresia won the chance to be the principal for the day during a silent auction at a PTO fundraiser.
