Pride Family Picnic gives community members a chance to celebrate in La Crosse
Event comes during pride month
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The Pride Family Picnic is giving all community members a chance to come together and celebrate who they are.
Saturday’s picnic from The Center Seven Rivers LGBTQ Connection was shifted indoors because of the weather.
This annual event comes during Pride Month.
“It’s a nice chance for the entire community to come out and be loud and proud. It’s great for people who are still in the closet to see others out, being open,” said The Center: 7 Rivers LGBTQ Connection executive director.
The annual ‘Pride in the Park’ event is scheduled for this September.
