Police arrest La Crosse man suspected in North Side shots-fired call
LA CROSSE (WKBT) — Police arrested a La Crosse man accused in a shots-fired incident on the North Side June 8.
According to police, an investigation following the call about shots fired shortly after 2 a.m. turned up shell casings in the alley behind 1820 George St. Police determined that 23-year-old Dakota J. Fair had fired a handgun, causing bullet hole damage to area houses and garages, according to a news release. Police arrested Fair Saturday.
Fair, who appeared in La Crosse County Circuit Court Monday, faces counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety and possession of a firearm as felonies, as well as violating probation. He is held on $10,000 cash bond.
