Police: $10,000 worth of cocaine found in La Crosse County

Two people from the Milwaukee/Madison area have been arrested after drugs were found during a routine traffic stop, police said.

According to the La Crosse County Sheriff’s Department, two individuals have been arrested after police found over 100 grams of cocaine inside of their vehicle.

Police estimate that the drugs have a street value of approximately $10,000.

According to authorities, an officer with the La Crosse County Sheriff’s Department stopped to assist a motorist that had pulled over on the westbound side of I-90 near mile marker #3.

A Sheriffs deputy became suspicious of the vehicle’s occupants and requested assistance.

The individuals will appear in court on Monday, Oct. 31, at 1:30 p.m.
