Pfaff declares victory in Wisconsin Third Congressional District primary
LA CROSSE (WKBT)– Wisconsin State Senator Brad Pfaff has declared victory in the Democratic primary for the Wisconsin’s Third Congressional District.
Pfaff claimed victory at his watch party at Bodega in La Crosse about four hours after polls closed Tuesday evening.
“La Crosse County and the 32nd Senate District–which I represent–it came home tonight, and I’m very proud of that,” Pfaff said.
Pfaff was endorsed by outgoing Rep. Ron Kind, who held that district House seat for over 20 years but was not seeking reelection. Pfaff ran against three other Democratic candidates in the primary and will now face Republican Derrick Van Orden for the November general election.
