Pet of the Week – Max

/* Style Definitions */

Max is a 12-year-old, neutered male, Border Collie/Lab mix, who is current on vaccinations.

Don’t let his age fool you, Max is still active and enjoys going for walks! He’s the kind of dog who could probably fit into just about any home.

Max does very well at keeping his kennel clean here at the shelter so he should do well in his new home as long as he has a consistent routine.

He would likely do well in a home with other dogs. He may do well in a home with children of any age given parental guidance and supervision.

Max is an all around great dog, he’s outgoing and loves attention! He needs an owner who will keep him on a strict diet and exercise routine so that he can get down to a more appropriate weight. If you’re looking for a walking and snuggle buddy, Max is the dog for you!

Visit Max or one of the many other animals available for adoption at the Coulee Region Humane Society from 1-5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday-Sunday or 1-7 p.m. Tuesday & Thursday.
