Periods of Rain Still Likely Today -Bill Graul

Dry Sunday... Then Roller-Coaster Ride in Temps Next Week

WHAT WE’RE TRACKING:

Another area of low-pressure will lift northeast along a cold front, which has essentially stalled to our southeast. This will bring additional periods of rain today, with the steadiest rain this morning… then more scattered this afternoon. Isolated thunder will be possible in spots as well. Additional rainfall totals could climb above an inch in some areas, especially south and east.

Rather windy today as well with highs in the 40s for many, but some low 50s possible south and east. The wind will be especially strong today in southern and eastern parts of Wisconsin. Sunday will be dry with a mix of clouds and sun and more seasonable highs in the low-mid 50s.

Weekend Forecast Bill

LOOKING AHEAD:

Fasten your seatbelts for a roller-coaster ride in temps next week. Highs Monday will be in the upper 40s to low 50s… then rise into the 60s midweek… then will come crashing down into the 30s for many by next Saturday. Small chance of showers on Election Day Tuesday, then a stronger system will bring the chance for rain on Thursday. Enough cold air gets wrapped into the system that snow could mix in on Friday. Stay tuned!
