Pennsylvania police capture 3-foot alligator

Police responded Saturday after a small alligator was found in a Pennsylvania resident’s yard, according to authorities.

Pictures of officers apprehending the 3-foot reptile were shared on Facebook by the East Cocalico Township Police Department.

The diminutive gator was taken to the nearby Forgotten Friend Reptile Sanctuary, UPI reported, as it waits to be sent closer to its natural habitat at the Croc Encounters wildlife sanctuary in Tampa, Florida.

Police ask that anyone with information about where the alligator came from to contact them.
