Packers trade up to take QB Jordan Love in first round of 2020 NFL Draft
The Green Bay Packers traded pick No. 30 and a fourth rounder to the Dolphins for pick No. 26 in Thursday’s first round of the NFL Draft, and they used it to pick quarterback Jordan Love from Utah State.
Love completed 62 percent of his passes this past season for 3,400 yards, 20 touchdowns to 17 picks. The year before was more efficient: Love completed 64 percent of passes for over 3,500 yards and 32 touchdowns to 6 picks.
Love will now sit behind Aaron Rodgers, who is under contract for the Packers through the 2023 season.
