Packers’ receiver Jordy Nelson makes catch pledge

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Green Bay Packers’ receiver Jordy Nelson is making a catch pledge.

He will to make a $100-per-catch donation to Young Life Green Bay, a Christian nonprofit youth organization.

The group works with students who attend Bay Port, East and Preble high schools, and Washington and Edison middle schools.

Jordy and Emily Nelson have partnered with the organization for the last three years.

The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports that so far, Jordy has made 59 catches, bringing his total pledge for the season to $5,900.
