Packers DT charged with drug offense in Florida
Guion signed with Green Bay in 2014
STARKE, Fla. — Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Letroy Guion was arrested Tuesday in his home state of Florida, police said.
Capt. Warren Barry, spokesman for the police department in Starke, Florida, confirmed that Guion, 27, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of marijuana and a weapons charge.
Guion signed with the Packers last year after six seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, according to the Packers website.
In a statement Wednesday, Packers spokesman Jason Wahlers said the team was informed of Guion’s arrest.
“We are aware of a serious matter involving Letroy Guion,” Wahlers said. “We have not yet spoken to Letroy and we will have no further comment.”
