ORA Trails hosts first annual Pancake Breakfast

LA CROSSE (WKBT) – The Outdoor Recreation Alliance got active and served up some pancakes.

At Myrick Park Center, everyone involved got to enjoy a trail run and some free breakfast.

This was the group’s first time hosting a pancake breakfast and all the money raised will benefit ORA Trails.

ORA’s Executive Director says going outside can be fun no matter what the weather is.

“Even on the worst weather day, its still a great experience,” said executive director, Jed Olson “Being able to look up at a snowstorm, a rainstorm, lightning. All sorts of unique weather situations, still helps us really recognize the benefits of stepping outside for a few minutes.”

If you missed the pancake breakfast, ORA Trails are looking for volunteers all year round.
