Operation Migration needs new aircrafts to help Whooping cranes

Organization guides Whooping cranes from Wis. to Fla.

The organization that has been guiding new generations of captive raised Whooping cranes from Wisconsin to Florida since 2001 needs new aircrafts.

Operation Migration (OM) needs three new aircrafts to comply with the FAA’s regulations for its Special Light Sport Aircraft category.

When the cranes are just 5 days old, they are comfortable spending time with the small aircraft, which guides them on their 1,200 mile journey in the fall.

Operation Migration has launched a crowdfunding campaign to try to offset the cost of the three new aircraft. For more information on Operation Migration and its campaign, go to https://igg.me/at/whoop.
