Onalaska teen creates donation drive
Donations will support Salvation Army, New Horizons
ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) – Just one person can do a lot help others in our community.
A local teen is collecting household items along with backpacks loaded with school supplies.
When gathered, the items will be delivered to the the Salvation Army and New Horizons.
She just wanted to help community members that might need a little help.
“We should just support each other, because we’re all going through the same thing with COVID is effecting everyone, so everyone should help everyone,” said drive organizer Sam Hosch.
The goal is to have the packages delivered before the first day of the school year.
Donations are being accepted on Hosch’s Venmo mobile payment account ‘Sam-Hosch-19’.
