ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) — Human remains found off an embankment along Hwy. 53 south of Sand Lake Road on April 25 have been identified as those of Tyler D. Henry, who had been missing since Sept. 2, according to the Onalaska Police Department.
The identification was determined from Onalaska police investigations and the findings from an autopsy done at Southern Minnesota Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.
The investigation has not revealed any signs of foul play in the 36-year-old Onalaska man’s death, according to Onalaska police.
“Our department is still awaiting the final autopsy report, which is expected to take several weeks to complete,” according to an Onalaska police news release late Thursday afternoon.
“The Onalaska Police Department has worked closely with the Henry Family over the past eight
months to locate Mr. Henry,” said the release, which added, “We want to extend our sympathies and thank the Henry Family for their assistance, along with all those that have reported tips on the case and the numerous law enforcement agencies and other organizations that assisted with this investigation.”
