Onalaska man runs red light, faces 6th OWI
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — An Onalaska man is in jail facing his 6th OWI charge after going through a red light on Mormon Coulee Road, causing a crash Saturday afternoon.
According to a La Crosse Police Department Crash Report, Aaron A. Davis failed to stop for a red light at Birch Street and Mormon Coulee Road. As Davis entered the intersection, a vehicle on Mormon Coulee Road was unable to stop and drove into the drivers side of Davis’s car.
Davis was not conscious following the crash and was taken to an area hospital for medical treatment. Both drivers suffered injuries, according to the report.
Davis is facing the following charges: Operating while intoxicated (6th), operating while revoked, reckless driving causing bodily harm, bail jumping and a probation violation.
