Onalaska man accused for being party to an intentional homicide bound over for trial

Trial date has not been set

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – An Onalaska man accused of being a party to the crime of intentional homicide was back in La Crosse County court.

During a preliminary hearing Wednesday, Judge Scott Horne found probable cause for 35-year-old Odell Thompson.

Thompson was driving with Shavonte Thompson November second on La Crosse’s north side.

That is according to the complaint filed late last month.

Shavonte allegedly left the vehicle and shot 18-year-old Javier Hall.

During the hearing, a request was made and approved to assign Judge Todd Bjerke to oversee the case.

A trial date has not been set.

Odell Thompson faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison if convicted.
