Onalaska High School marching band visits senior living community
ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) — Please don’t stop the music!
The Onalaska High School marching band is playing for a different audience today.
Residents at Eagle Crest North watched as students marched around the living community and played a few songs.
Employees say the performance was perfect timing for Eagle Crest.
“We have an assisted living week, a spirit week going on here, so I thought what gives you more spirit than a marching band,” said Donna Brogan, life enrichment coordinator at Eagle Crest.
It’s one of many performances to come in the next few weeks.
Onalaska and other local marching bands will march in Oktoberfest’s Maple Leaf Parade on Saturday, October 1.
