Onalaska church giving out hot meals once a month

ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) – As the weather gets colder, a church in Onalaska continues to have warm meals for those who need one.

The First United Methodist Church gives out free hot meals on the second Tuesday of every month.

Volunteers say they usually give out more than one hundred meals and have plenty extra for newcomers to pick up dinner.

“We know there are a lot of people who are hungry out there and if we can provide a hot meal one night a month, then we love to do that,” said Melissa De Boer.

Meals are handed out from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

For more information, you can find the Community Dinner Drive-Through on the church’s calendar.
