Gary William McNally, 66, of Winona, MN passed away on March 7, 2023 at his home.
Gary was born July 12, 1956 in Winona to William and Helen (Page) McNally. He attended school in Winona and graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1974, during which time he served as the president of the Winona FFA chapter.
On June 18, 1977, he married the love of his life, Karen Jane Schneider, and together, they were blessed with two beautiful daughters.
Gary was a farm boy through and through. He was a dairy farmer, a security guard, a stockman, a maintenance man at RTP company, driver for John O’Malley trucking, worked at Bay State Milling, and lastly, a driver for Caledonia Haulers.
He was known to be very honest and very hard working. Gary’s family, above all else, came first, whether helping with farm projects, household yard projects, anything to help out the brothers or neighbors, or making memories with his grandchildren. A tractor wagon ride was always an option no matter the weather.
Gary will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Karen, of 45 years; daughters, Heather (Dan) Brand and Emily (Richard) Koeller; grandchildren, Shelbi Koeller, Samuel Koeller, Sawyer Koeller, Beau Brand, and Irelynn Brand; siblings, Bonnie Horton (Jon Erickson), Randy (Heidi) McNally, Cathy Colburn, and Kenny (Sonia) McNally.
He was preceded in death by his parents and infant grandson, Grayson McNally.
Pallbearers include Bryan McNally, Patrick McNally, Joey McNally, Ethan McNally, Jon Schwartz, Jason Schwartz, Steven Horton, Scott Wieczorek, and Michael Spittler. Honorary pallbearers include Samuel Koeller, Sawyer Koeller, Beau Brand, Shelbi Koeller, and Irelynn Brand.
