Not As Cold Tonight… And Not Nearly As Windy Tomorrow
Mild Temps For The Next Several Days
Tonight’s Forecast Low: 28F / Wednesday’s Forecast High: 46F…
It was milder today with highs ranging from the upper 30s to mid 40s… but it was also rather windy, making it feel chillier than that. In fact, winds gusted over 30 mph in some locations.
Not as cold tonight with lows mainly in the 20s. Expect clear skies this evening, then increasing clouds after midnight. Winds will decrease this evening and drop into the 5-10 mph range for much of the night… as the winds shift around to the NW.
Wednesday will be another mild day with a mix of clouds and sun. Expect highs in the 40s and it won’t be nearly as windy, with NW winds 5-10 mph. Thursday and Friday look dry and mild as well, with partly sunny skies. Expect highs in the mid-upper 40s.
Looking Ahead… A weak disturbance may squeeze out some snow flurries late Friday night into early Saturday morning. Otherwise, look for decreasing clouds Saturday with highs well into the 40s. Increasing clouds and breezy Sunday, but even warmer with highs in the low 50s. A weak disturbance could bring some light rain showers or sprinkles Sunday night into early Monday. Otherwise, clouds will decrease Monday with mild highs in the mid 50s.
A stronger system looks to lift northeast across the Upper Midwest next Tuesday and/or Wednesday. It will bring a chance of rain showers, as temps will be quite mild… with highs generally in the mid 50s. Overnight lows look to remain well above freezing as the system tracks through as well.
Have a good Tuesday night! -Bill Graul
