North Side shooting suspect arrested in La Crosse

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — La Crosse investigators have arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with the shooting incident on La Crosse’s North Side last week.

Julius A. Lloyd was arrested on charges of recklessly endangering safety, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting an officer causing injury and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, according to the La Crosse Police Department.

Lloyd was identified as the man who fired a gun at about 3:27 a.m. April 4 in the area of Rublee and Prospect streets. On April 9, Lloyd was spotted entering a vehicle on La Crosse’s North Side. He was pulled over and identified, according to police.

Police say Lloyd resisted arrest and injured an officer, but was taken into custody. He had 22 gem bags of what appeared to be cocaine on his person.
