Noah’s Ark runs aground for season because of COVID-19
WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. (WKBT) — Noah’s Ark Waterpark announced Wednesday that it is closing for the season because of concerns about COVID-19.
The development appears to be an extension of its closure four days ago, when it announced that it would be shut down until further notice.
“We made this decision proactively with the health and safety of our Guests, Team Members, and the Wisconsin Dells community as our top priority,” park officials announced on the tourist attraction’s Facebook page Wednesday.
All single-day tickets bought for this season can be used next summer, and 2020 season passes will be extended to include the 2021 season, according to the announcement.
All 2020 season pass-holders will receive a free 2021 Buddy Ticket.
“We will use the remainder of this year to prepare Noah’s Ark for its 2021 season, scheduled to begin Memorial Day weekend,” the notice said.
