LA CROSSE, Wisc. (WKBT) — The La Crosse center is getting closer to it’s new remodel and design.
With the recent approval of a budget by the council, the center held a board meeting discussing the next steps and plans for the future of the multi-use building on Thursday, April 18.
The La Crosse Center Dircetor, Art Fahey, says once construction documents become available, public input forums and listening sessions will be held starting in May.
Fahey also mentioned the tangible work that they will be deciding soon.
“It’s going to be a look, it’s going to be a color and style, things like that. We’re getting into some of the things that people are probably going to want to wrap their arms around and have some input on.”
Although there have been many hurdles, and there will be more, the center director says they are just starting to put all of the pieces together and construction could begin as early as March of next year.
