MADISON, Wis. -- Just in time for Memorial Day, a Wisconsin veteran was inducted into the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital's Hall of Heroes on Thursday.

U.S. Army Capt. Tyrone “Tony” Paulson, a native of Trempealeau County and a current Madison resident, was honored Thursday for his service during the Vietnam War. His valor during the war earned him three Bronze Stars and two Army Commendation Medals.
