LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – A little more than $3.7 million will allow the city of La Crosse install wellhead treatment for PFAs chemicals.
Senator Tammy Baldwin is calling the treatment an urgent need.
“This is the step you take when the drinking water is already contaminated. But there’s ways we can prevent more PFAs from getting into our drinking water,” said Senator Tammy Baldwin.
More than $187 million has been included in the legislation to support projects across Wisconsin.
